Tour to Luxor

 Luxor

About Luxor:

One of Egypt's most lovely tourist destinations is Luxor. Throughout the New Kingdom's rule, it functioned as Egypt's capital. According to some historians, Luxor is home to almost one-fourth of all the historical sites in the globe. Actually, any traveller to Egypt simply must pay a visit to Luxor.

The Backdrop of Luxor:

Thebes, which evolved into the capital of ancient Egypt during the rule of the 18th dynasty, is represented by the Luxor we see today. At the end of the Second Intermediate Period of Egypt, Ahmose established Thebes as his capital after putting an end to the Hyksos invasion of Egypt. About the middle of the sixteenth century BC.
Since then, Thebes has grown to be one of the most significant cities in the New Kingdom of Egypt. With temples as large and spectacular as the Karnak Temple and the Luxor Temple, the ancient Egyptians regarded the East Bank of the Nile as the city of the living. The Pharaohs built numerous mortuary temples and burial sites, including the Valley of the Kings and the Temple of Hatshepsut, on the West Bank of the Nile, which was known as the "City of the Dead."

The Location of Luxor in Geographical Space:

Southern Egypt's Luxor is situated on the east and west banks of the Nile. Luxor, the capital of the same-named governorate, is situated around 730 kilometres south of Cairo, 181 kilometres north of Aswan, and roughly 300 kilometres southwest of Hurghada.
Indeed Luxor is a place worth to visit but Egypt holds some other locations like Memphis and Qaitbay Fort . The List Does not End here. Read these Blogs to Recognize
